The rainforest in Peru covers approx 60% of the country but is only home to about 5% of the population. It is home to various national parks and is accessible all year round. We have programs to suit all clients from tours for ornithologists to adventure trips trekking though the jungle to soft adventure trips. Check out our tours.

Pongo de Mainique

The Pongo de Mainique "The Gorge of Bears" is 2 miles long and approx 50 metres wide. It is known as the last part of the Andes, where the Urubamba flows into the jungle before heading north to Pucallpa and Iquitos.

Tambopata National Reserve

A visit to the 270000 hectares of protected rainforest. Where they have more than 600 recorded species of bird and 1200 different butterflies. This trip is suitable for kids and truly an education.

This really is an amazing visit to the rainforest as this is the only lodge inside the park and they are the custodians of the park.

Manu National Park 9 days/8 nights

Cloud Forest, Lakes Salvador & Otorongo, Macaw Lick and Pantiacolla Mountains - in and out by bus.

Iquitos Amazon Lodge

A 4 day trip into the rainforest from the city of Iquitos. We will travel 140kms up river tot he lodge.

The Jungle of Peru in Luxury

A luxurious lodge set in the colourful setting of the rain forest in Peru. Come spend 3 or 4 nights at these spacious bungalows on the banks of the river Madre de Dios (Mother of God).
Please ask about the opportunity to spend the night 30 metres up a tree in the rain forest in the tree house of the lodge.
