Day 1. Machu Picchu
Departing Cusco by bus very early in the morning we take our private transport to the town of Ollantaytambo or to Km 82. From here we take the train along the meandering Urubamba River to the town of Aguas Calientes. We will take a short bus trip up to the archaeological site before beginning our 3 hour guided tour.
In the tour you will visit the Royal Tomb and Intiwatana among others and you guide is available for those that want to visit the Sun Gate or Huayna Picchu.
Lunch is a buffet in the 5 star Sanctuary Hotel before a bus back down to Aguas Calientes and the return to Cusco via train and bus.
