I believe in wishes coming true, in good will of the people and miracles of friendship. The trip to Q'eros had proved that my believes were not just fantasies. Three years ago I heard about Cocho Moco people making their wish come true - they built their own school for the future of their children. This year I was lucky to visit the school and bring some educational resources donated by St Albans Road Infant School parents and teachers. Fiona, Carmen and Valentin supported me all the way through the trek making me feel safe on the cliffs and helping with the alltitude problems. The village people welcomed us with overhelming sincerety sharing their simple food and warm smiles. I wish I could stay longer helping children to learn and build their knowledge. I hope to come back again and help Cocho Moco people to make difference in their children's future.

I spent 2 months in Cusco with Fiona and her amazing team while doing a medical elective. I could say without doubt that it was the most amazing, eye-opening, and beneficial experience of my life.

The hospital exposure was well organised, as was accomodation and spanish classes. The highlight by far however were the remote clinics into the Andean Mountains where the isolation and limited resources stretched our abilities to the limit. The local people were extremely excepting and allowed us to experience their culture like very few have before us. Despite the isolation there was no point where I felt without support, direction, or a lack of enthusiasm thanks to Fiona.

The experience not only opened my eyes to a phenomenal corner of the world but allowed me to make freids with some very special and unique people whom I will never forget.

Thankyou Fiona for allowing me to experience such a memorable elective!!

Fiona is amazing! She is the best. . .she knows everybody and somehow makes everything work out fabulously. We had a custom trip that was a little tricky. She fulfilled every hope we had for our trip and threw in some special highlights. I can't recommend her highly enough.

"The time i spent with Fiona and the team formed the most rewarding experience i've ever had. As a medical student it was exciting and challenging. The most rewarding feeling was knowing that we were having a significant positive impact on the community. With further time invested, health could dramatically improve with education and medical supplies. The trips were very well orgainised. Food was always fantastic!! I'll definitely be coming back again in the near future."
